Better Together: The Power of Interfaith Cooperation
7pm, Monday, April 11th
217 Noyes Lab
What if people of all faiths and traditions worked together to promote the
common good for all? What if once again, young people led the way? Across
the country, Muslims and Hindus, Jews and Christians, Buddhists and
non-religious, are coming together in a movement of interfaith cooperation.
Staff members from the Interfaith Youth Core will present an engaging
address on the power of interfaith cooperation on our campus.

Our University is made up people of an array of faiths, philosophical
beliefs, and ways of making meaning, but do we have the skills to help our
students have dialogues and build community across their beliefs? Join staff
from the Interfaith Youth Core (www.ifyc.org) for a training for Student
Affairs and other campus professionals on interfaith literacy and the ways
we can cultivate interfaith inclusion and dialogue on campus.
Please RSVP if you can join us. Light snacks and coffee
will be served from 8:30-9am, and the training will begin promptly at 9am.=
