Undergraduate Office Assistant Position
The Women’s Resources Center is seeking an organized, responsible, hard-working undergraduate student to provide front office clerical support to assist with the daily operations of the women’s center during academic year 2011/2012.  If available, may be able to start during Summer I or II.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests and answer inquires or direct visitors to appropriate staff/office
Answer the phone and direct calls/take messages for staff
Distribute mail and prepare mail for sending
Update web pages
Help with publicity, preparation, and set-up for center activities and programs
Assist with general clerical tasks (i.e. copying, filing, scanning, etc.)
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Basic knowledge of web tools and Dreamweaver (Preferred)
Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to maintain appropriate level of confidentiality and privacy related to services
Ability to work with faculty, staff, and students from a wide variety of backgrounds
Able to work 8–10 hours per week with regularly scheduled office hours
Office experience and customer service/outreach experience strongly preferred
Must be dependable, punctual, adaptable, and able to work well with others
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
Federal Work Study eligibility for 2011-2012 academic year preferred
Undergraduate Web-site Developer Position
The Women’s Resources Center is seeking an organized, responsible, hard-working undergraduate student to handle technical aspects of updating, developing and maintaining the website and other electronic communication venues of the women’s center during academic year 2011/2012.  If available, may be able to start during Summer I or II.
Responsibilities:
Assist in content creation for the Women’s Resources Center website
Transfer pre-written content to web
Update and maintain website information including events calendar
Assist with weekly electronic newsletter
Some opportunity for web design and creation
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of web tools (Preferred) and Dreamweaver (Required)
Prior experience in website design and creation, including proficiency in HTML Excellent writing skills
Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Able to work 8–10 hours per week with regularly scheduled office hours
Must be dependable, punctual, adaptable, and able to work well with others
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
Ability to work on deadline; scheduling flexibility
Federal Work Study eligibility for 2011-2012 academic year preferred
