I’m currently recruiting for a great one-year fellowship in Boston.  The fellowship is for tutoring and teaching at an inner-city school.  Typically after the year, fellows go on to top grad schools or become full-time teachers in high-need schools.

Fellows are assigned 6-7 MATCH students at the beginning of the year, with whom they work in small group or 1-on-1 tutorials over the course each day, doing close academic support and building relationships. They receive housing and a modest living stipend.

All the information can be found here:
http://www.matchschool.org/matchcorps/howitworks.htmI have a simple request that seems win-win if you help one of your students find just the “right” opportunity upon graduation: Do you know a few senior Anthropology majors who might want to teach in the inner-city, and who have demonstrated unusual grit and determination?  If so, could you please send me their e-mails, or perhaps forward this along to them?

If you can reply with any contact information or suggestions, I’d be really grateful and send you all the positive karma I have.
Thanks for reading this!

All the best,
